My Story
Andromeda Cook Studio was born from a place of faith, healing, and pure creative devotion. My art is a reflection of everything I have lived through, prayed through, and risen above. This is where purpose meets creativity, and where I use art to pour light, love, healing and truth back into the world.
My Mission
My mission is to create art that speaks to the heart and soul. Art that reminds people of their strength, their value, and the power they already hold inside. I want every person who engages with my work to feel something. To pause. To breathe. To reconnect with themselves. Through my paintings, murals, classes, and community projects, I bring art that uplifts people, strengthens neighborhoods, and creates meaningful spaces for creativity and growth.
What I Do
I create intentional art for people who appreciate authenticity, creativity, and the beauty of expression. My work includes original paintings, custom pieces, murals, creative programs, and classes that invite people of all ages to explore art in a meaningful way. Andromeda Cook Studio is more than a name. It is a space where creativity is honored, healing is welcomed, and community is built through the power of art.

House of Purpose
House of Purpose is a luxury home collection born from original canvas paintings by Andromeda Cook. Each piece is created to transform atmosphere, elevate everyday spaces, and introduce intentional design into the home.
Original Paintings in the Penn Medicine Collection
My original paintings Self Love and Flower of Life are part of the Penn Medicine collection through CFEVA’s Community Exhibitions Program and are currently on display. I’m grateful for spaces that make room for art, healing, and community.
A Modern Tribute To a Timeless Voice
A Modern Tribute to a Timeless Voice is my 36 × 48 mixed media tribute portrait celebrating legacy, voice, and cultural power. The painting was acquired by Pennsylvania State Representative Andre D. Carroll after being exhibited at the October Gallery, one of Philadelphia’s most respected African American art spaces known for uplifting Black artists and preserving cultural history.
Where Art and Healing Meet
Pursuit of Happiness is the first paint pour I selected for my 10K Collection. The original has found its home at Brewerytown Pilates, a welcoming Philadelphia studio rooted in movement and community. Prints are available. If you are in Philadelphia, visit Brewery town Pilates and see the original in person.
Art That Gives Back
The October Art Gallery recently donated and installed over 20 works of art at Parkway Northwest High School through their Free Art Wall initiative, including several of my pieces. I designed the community mural pictured here, which was brought to life by the SMART Girls mentoring program and our community. I’m grateful for every opportunity to create meaningful work and share art with schools and young people across Philadelphia.

A Full Circle Moment on 9th Street
I served as the assistant artist on this mural with lead artist Martha Rich, commissioned by Michelle Ortiz and Mural Arts Philadelphia. Having grown up right here selling shopping bags, adding artwork to this block feels like giving back to the place that shaped me.
Threads of My Philly Roots
Painting these awnings brought me back to where it all began. My family worked on 9th Street, and I grew up nearby on 11th and Carpenter. This project was an opportunity to honor a community that shaped me. Created with the Our Market Project and Mural Arts Philadelphia.
Where Culture Lives and Color Speaks
These awnings honor the 9th Street Market that raised me. Created with the Our Market Project and Mural Arts Philadelphia.
Afro-American Art & History Program
As the lead art instructor for the SMART Girls Afro-American Art and History Program, I work with young girls ages eight to thirteen, helping them explore identity, creativity, and history through art. Enrollment is still open, and every participant will receive a one hundred dollar gift card.
My Dream Project
Destined Paths came from deep research, prayer, and pure creativity. I studied Kyrie’s story and poured everything I learned onto the canvas. Creating it felt like channeling Basquiat’s way of speaking through symbols, color, and movement. This is more than a painting. It is a story on canvas, waiting for Kyrie to sit down, look at every detail, and decode the meaning behind it. The sneaker concept takes that same energy to another level artistically, expanding the story beyond the canvas. This piece is inspired by Hollywood Africans and created with the hope that one day Kyrie Irving will experience it for himself.
The Chi - Season 5 Episode 4 🎨
While you’re here, explore my art and the stories behind it. And if you’d like to see another piece of my journey, my cameo on The Chi (Season 5, Episode 4) is still streaming on Showtime.
