Collection: The Becoming Collection

The Becoming Collection marks a shift in scale, control, and value within the work of contemporary artist Andromeda Cook. These large scale 48 × 48 inch original abstract paintings are built through a two-part process combining fluid paint pour foundations with a signature suspended pour technique, allowing movement and gravity to form one of one compositions that cannot be duplicated.

Rooted in abstract expressionism, each piece is created through a balance of layered motion and intentional detail, resulting in work that holds presence and commands space. Designed for serious collectors, these paintings stand as investment level contemporary fine art.

Based in Philadelphia, Andromeda Cook’s work has been exhibited in major spaces and collected across public and private collections. Each piece is professionally framed by Michael Z. Muhammad, one of Philadelphia’s most respected framers.
