“Hollywood Dreams” is a 12 × 16 inch fine art print of my first large scale Basquiat inspired painting. Created as a tribute to my favorite artist, Jean Michel Basquiat, the original work was inspired by Hollywood Africans but tells my own story through words and symbols.
The painting reflects a time when I took a leap of faith toward becoming a full time artist and educator. It represents motherhood, faith, entrepreneurship, healing, higher wisdom, and the people and experiences that helped shape me.
