The Heart Behind the House of Purpose Collection

The Heart Behind the House of Purpose Collection

I’ve always been a bit of a homebody.

I spend a lot of time in what I like to call my “hermit mode,” where I’m creating, reflecting, and simply being present in my space. Because of that, my home has always been very important to me. I want it to feel peaceful. I want it to feel sacred. Most importantly, I want everything around me to feel intentional.

Every object in my space carries a certain kind of energy.

The words I surround myself with, the artwork on my walls, the colors in the room, the textures on my bed or couch. These things may seem small, but they influence how we feel every day. When you are constantly surrounded by intention, beauty, positive words, and meaningful art, it begins to shape your environment in a powerful way.

One artist who always inspired me in that way was Frida Kahlo.

What I loved about Frida wasn’t just her paintings. It was the way she lived inside her art. When you stepped into her home, her creativity was everywhere. Her house felt like an extension of her paintings. Her art wasn’t something separate from her life. It was woven into everything around her.

That idea stayed with me.

I realized that I love living with my art the same way. Not just creating it, but being surrounded by it. Knowing the intention behind each piece, knowing the energy that went into creating it, and allowing that energy to live in my everyday environment.

Many of my paintings carry affirmations, spiritual reminders, and words meant to uplift the spirit. I believe words are powerful. When you see positive messages and intentional imagery daily, those seeds begin to plant themselves in your mind and heart.

In many ways, my art is a constant reminder to stay aligned with love, purpose, and higher vibrations.

You will often see references to things like the 528 Hz love frequency, affirmations, or symbolic elements in my work. Even the paint pours themselves feel like an act of pouring love onto the canvas, allowing energy to move freely and transform into something beautiful.

Over time, that way of living naturally led me to create something beyond paintings alone.

It led me to create the House of Purpose collection.

The House of Purpose collection grew from that same idea of living intentionally inside the spaces we occupy every day.

I began thinking about how art could move beyond the wall and become part of daily life. The pillow you rest your head on. The blanket that wraps around you at night. The pieces that quietly surround you while you move through your routines.

Each piece in the collection carries the same intention that exists in my paintings. Words of affirmation. Messages of grace. Energy that reminds us to move through life with love and purpose.

One piece that reflects this idea deeply for me is the Grace Over Chaos shower curtain.

Water itself is powerful. When we shower, we are not only cleansing our bodies, we are also releasing the energy we carried throughout the day. It can become a moment of reset. A moment of quiet reflection.

The artwork becomes a gentle reminder to be intentional during that time.

To speak life over yourself.

To pray.

To let the water wash away stress, negativity, and anything that does not belong to you.

When I was an Elementary School Teacher, I used to show my students an experiment by Dr. Masaru Emoto about the power of words and water. We would also do a simple version at home called the rice water experiment. One jar of rice and water would receive positive words and gratitude. Another jar would receive negative words.

Over time, the difference becomes visible.

It is a simple demonstration, but it teaches something powerful. Words carry energy. Water responds to intention.

I teach that same lesson to my son today.

So when I think about the shower, I do not see it as just a routine. I see it as a moment where water is flowing over the body, where words can be spoken with intention, where we can release what we carried from the outside world.

The Grace Over Chaos shower curtain is meant to live inside that moment.

It is not just decoration. It is a reminder.

A reminder that even when life feels chaotic, we still have the power to choose grace, peace, and intention.

And that is the heart behind the House of Purpose collection.
